I myself still a fan of MTH's railking trains and some premier trains in the past and had few of them with die-casting blisters on the boilers. I still have MTH realtrax and Z4000 and they work well with my Sunset 3rd steamer as the key here is good track work as i learned that from my H.O. days. As far as i know the Brass Sunset 3rd is better in terms of "3D" lost wax casting details where some of the die-cast steamers do have SOME "3D" details but mostly cast on details so that's where the Sunset 3rd shines. There's nothing wrong with die-cast steamers and if it makes you happy then that's all it matters. BTW welcome aboard,I am glad there are more women joining this forums as i been here a few years now and it is a great place to share ideas, getting help and meeting new folks.
