First off, nice work Dave. Thats an impressive piece of engineering.
As for future repairs, put lack of parts as the major concern now. Even the repair guys can't fix them if they can't get parts. Anyone who has purchased an engine in the last year should checkout Lionel's parts site and see what parts they have to repair your engine. I know there are still zero mechanical parts for the J3a Hudsons and they have been out for nearly a year.
