I agree but there are folks all over the country that would benefit from an Alex or GRJ closer to home. It would be great if Lionel was able to offer the repair classes again. Perhaps set the requirements higher for attending and training. There are a lot of good repair guys out there but a lot are being left behind by the advanced technology.

That is true I used to live in Pennsylvania now I reside in Maryland. Alex used to be about a 1 hour 15 minute drive for me which was worth it but I would still do a 4-5 hour trip to bring repairs to him. In fact I have done it already

Also I am sure Alex and GRJ are on a first name basis with their UPS, FedEx etc drivers so I would not use distance as a reason not to buy or get a engine repaired. The way I found Alex was by reading the forum. You can check their location or email them if needed. I do agree with updating your repair training if thats your trade of choice.
