I took the photos, and obviously I didn't notice this when we shot them. I shoot over 100 images for each issue of the magazine, and I just don't remember.

I don't know if we damaged it by handling or if it came out of the box this way. The locomotive is no longer here at the OGR World Headquarters, so I can't check it.
