I also put LEDs in all of our ceiling fans about 5 years ago, they are still doing just fine. Also, like GRJ above, I am almost 100% LEDs at our house. I think the seldom used lights outside for the driveway are the only incandescents left. And as Leo says you will not only save on the light bill, but the LEDs will last a WHOLE LOT longer (per box, 18+ years on yours). Pretty amazing things! Mine will probably outlast me.
