Aristocraft Train Engineer and DCC

Dear List,

I have an original Aristocraft Train Engineer, which operates fine and works well for me as a quadriplegic (I can use a stylus strapped to my hand to press the control buttons). My question is whether the A through F function buttons on the Train Engineer can be used to control basic DCC decoder functions such as horn and bell, as on a SoundTrax decoder installed in a 2 rail Atlas SW-9? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
