Keep in mind O27 diameter tubular track is measured from the outside edge of a tie to the outside edge of the opposite tie. Atlas-O 21C curves are measured center rail to opposite center rail. This means Atlas-O O27 curves are actually O28-1/4 using the old measuring method.

Which is why a fair amount of equipment that says "Minimum O31 curves" will go around Atlas-O O27 curves just fine, but not tubular O27 curves.
