Reply to "Atlas O Masterline owners manual - need help with speed steps"

Let me restate what my "problem" is.  I have other Atlas F units.  B&O and Rock Island (both purchased in the the Bob Thatcher AM Hobbies).  Both of these will start slower and creep up to speed.  Maybe I am using the term momentum vs. speed control incorrectly.    If I turn the Legacy remote throttle, there is no delay at which the Santa Fe engine rolls and gets up to speed quickly.

Since I posted this thread, another question came up from one of the replies, when I add an an engine in the Legacy remote, I thought the right way to add them was "TMCC".  I am now somewhat doubting what I have done for the engines.

I appreciate the help.  Thank you.

Let me make sure I understand.  You have 3 engines:  B&O, RI, Santa Fe.  All the engines have been set to 100 speed steps. When you set the engines up in the Legacy remote you can select TMCC or R100.  If you are trying to get the engines to run ar similar speeds you would need all the engines set the same TMCC or R100.  R100 is also TMCC, but gives you finer control of speed.  So you have all the engines set up the same way and you are having problems with the Santa Fe.  In speed step 1 the Santa Fe is moving quite fast compared to the others and accelerates faster than the other engines.  Am I understanding the problem correctly?
