 The mention of Bob Thatcher tells me these are older Atlas units. Probably with EOB. It sounds like your Santa Fe has the newer ERR version. The EOB has 32 or 128 speed steps. The thing with EOB is that it accelerates very slowly. Sort of a built in momentum feature. You can stop turning the throttle and the engine will still be slowly accelerating. The ERR features 100 steps. While there’s not a big difference between 100 and 128. They are totally different as to how they perform.

 Your best option is what John wrote by disabling the cruise in all 3. If you are trying to run EOB and ERR engines together in cruise and that’s the way you want to go. I’d add ERR to the 2 that may have EOB.
