I have been out of the country for the past week plus. I think I have confused some of you so maybe let me try and restate what I am looking to do. I have a single 2 year old Atlas engine that I bought from Mr. Muffin trains. It is engine #37. It is the plated engines that everyone had the issues with. It's that run if that is ringing a bell.

I am not looking at multiple units and connecting them.

I am looking at how to make the engines start slowly. if I turn the throttle the engine responds instantly. I am not looking for that instant response rather something picks up speed and slows downs gradually. Is that momentum? If so how do I set that.

I know I can as I have set it on my other Atlas engines I was referring to (B&O and Rock Island). I just can't remember how to do it.
