Mike, I'm planning on a simple paint scheme, probably either Reading green or the PRR boxcar brown. These won't be trying to match or exceed professionally painted cars, I want them for shows to have nice consists to travel with. I envision a mass painting project for all the shells at one time. I just have to find a bunch of decals, or I may also go the route of creating a mythical road name with vinyl lettering, haven't decided for sure.
