Thanks Mike...yes, it's Item #30-79473, Rail King New Haven Operating Box Car w/ Signal Man

Here's what we have, from the owner's manual for your car:

You can see from the picture of the track section (above) that this car needs what's called a UTS or Uncoupling/Unloading Track Section.  You've selected a simpler Uncoupling Section, namely your AtlasO #6059 Uncoupling Track.  Different animal.

I don't see an Atlas version of the OTS on the Atlas website, so I assume that they don't make one.  However Gargraves does, in fact two (see below), and they will probably be as good a fit as you can expect when used between two section of Atlas track.

These track have both an electromagnet for uncoupling two cars (seen in the center of the track in the top picture, and on the end in the bottom one).   More importantly they have two extra rails, located between the usual outside and center rails, just like the MTH UTS seen in your owner's manual.  These two extra rails provide electrical power, through sliding "shoes" on the bottom of the car, to operate the signalman.

Each comes with a pushbutton assembly to supply switched power to activate.

Gargraves No. 108

Gargraves No. 108-EM

I hope this helps.

Mike
