Al,

LCCA is marching forward with new ideas to attract new members. This time it's world wide. I'm glad to see that LCCA is not afraid to advance into uncharted waters. I wonder how long it will take for others to follow?

I spent over twelve-years in the Philippines. I made it back to the western United States three times every month. I was able to have friends in Washington and California secure O-Gauge trains for me. When I came through every month I would pick up my trains for my return trip back to the Philippines. My entire tour included O-Gauge trains. I wish that there could have been organizations like LCCA back then. Yes, we had TCA & TTOS and that was about it. When my tour ended I donated my trains and layout to the church on base for all to enjoy. Just to think that all of this happened almost forty-years ago,

All of this took place before the internet. If anyone wanted anything they were at the mercy of the Postal Service. I admire organizations that are making the world smaller just by using the web. Way to go LCCA!!!!
