You would need a board that detects when the train reaches a predetermined location and then cycles the reverse sequence. Z stuff makes one. A defunct company called pocono mountain lines did as well. Search the forum for similar posts, if you think the pocono mt line board will work for you shoot me an email, I have a spare. For what it's worth ten feet is a short stretch for a subway. I use this on a 12 foot section with a single hopper and a tiny k line switcher.
