Aw' thanks very much Paul'.. But I am in good company'.. your figures and autos are first rate'...!!!! Painting figures is a entire hobby in it self. the large majority of my figures are hand painted. The W.S, Artista, and Phizer, bachman, etc. are all touched up.. It's something I enjoy, bringing them to life. I use a variety of items to get them they to look human....My opinion only.. I think the Model-U, and Printle, a shapeways company, are the best for hand painting.....
With winter coming, you should consider re-trying your hand at painting'...There is no right way, or wrong way'....to paint figures'.... it takes me several days to paint figures. Paint must dry one day after undercoating/primer. Then initial coat, another day. Face and details another day... Weathering/shadowing if required...
A little bit of work... No different than building scenery, or scratching a structure'...
