The first car I remember clearly was my dad's 49 Ford Tudor coupe in sea foam green.  He waited for a long time for that car (bought it new from the dealer who lived across the street), but I heard him telling the guy one day, "Junior, you couldn't run fast enough to ever sell me another Ford", and he never owned another one.

I bought one in 1966 from another soldier in Okinawa.  It was like yours, but I think the blue was darker.  For its age it was a mighty fine car.  It had over 100,000 miles on it when I got transferred and sold it.

Ours was a '51 sedan with a similar body style in light green (not sure if it was called "sea foam" or not). I picked up this 1/43 scale model in the background.
