I've been going to York for 20 years now, and those old Bandit meets were a lot of fun. I recall one year the Pa. tax department raided the Billy Budd and shut everyone down who didn't have the sales tax permit.
And there was a lot to buy. But it was very weather dependent. However, (in good weather which was anything that didn't have rain) it gave you easy access to a lot of items that just weren't as much fun at the TCA meet. To me, I loved the fact that it was easy to walk around. I get very frustrated at the narrow aisles at the show, particularly in the seller halls. Makes it difficult to get through them and it was never like that at the Bandit meets.
