I remember my first York in 1981. I spent nearly all of my funds at the Billy Budd (Holiday Inn) and (at the time) Sheraton (Now Wyndham) but there were amazing deals to be had. This was right before the prices skyrocketed.I seem to remember additional bandit meets at a fire station or VFW hall and another smaller hotel in the mid 1980's. I'll have to dig out my photos and share them.
