Reply to "Barbed Wire Fence Project"

Nickey,

Thank you.

laz,

The height is about 8 scale feet to the top of the fence and another foot for the barbed wire. The jig is 24 inches long. I made sections in the picture up to 35 inches long by taking the first 24 inches out of the jig and just putting four posts in from that section and then adding on. I normally make fences right in place on a baseboard, but in this case I did not do the model the fence was going around.

Pingman, Lee and Alex,

Thank you. Hopefully there is enough information for others to make fencing in this way.

Mike,

Dennis met the beagle in question. A four -foot high chain link fence is enough to keep him contained.

wb47,

When you paint the sewing string  it fuzzes up a little and gives the look of barbs. When I paint the string with a paint brush it is even more pronounced.

Ron,

Your fence actually looks more to scale by using the tulle.
