Not Pretty but Banker style boxes 11 by 17 by 9 for paper sizes up to legal size are great for train storage and moving.

I just got 20 boxes for under $2 each shipped to my house free by Amazon Prime.

A 19 inch car may just fit crosswise in box or marry two boxes together for more length.
