Reply to "Beeps and more Beeps"

When I saw this post this morning, I began to look at photos of my layout – and realized that I didn't have as many photos as I thought! So I got busy this afternoon.

I started with an old Williams version back in the late 80s – but RMT's new design for the old Kusan engine is a winner. (I still have the body around – repainted – but the chassis is long gone.)

Here are some of my custom jobs:

Reading Beeps

A solid Reading green version to go with my yellow and green scheme.

LV Yllwjckt & Snwbrd

A Lehigh Valley Yellowjacket that usually winds up paired with the Snowbird.

CNJ Beep

From the Jersey Central's "blue" period. (This represents one of my few successful attempts at printing color decals on white decal paper.)

LHR_Beep2 Another pair of Lehigh Valley Beeps.

Like some others, I have also used the Beep chassis as an opportunity to kit bash.

Here are my Lehigh & New England FeAps.

L&NE FeAps1

I have another pair on the workbench that will eventually be painted in Reading black.

I found a damaged K-Line shell at York one year and did this fast and easy mod.

Finally, I couldn't wait for RMT's boxcars – so I made some myself. Pennsy electrics and a Jersey Central diesel.

All in all, these engines are more fun than I should be allowed to have.
