We both seem to like Beeps! Yes, I think I want a Beep now! People just keep posting these things like this until I can no longer resist. Unfortunately I struck out with both BNSF (my road name) and ACL (Spence's video). I emailed them asking if they would be making any more of either of those, will have to wait for a reply.
If I can coerce (well at least persuade) gunrunnerjohn into a little advice and assistance, I would like to attempt an ERR/TMCC install in the Beep. I think he installed a CC Lite or something in one a while back and it sounded like a fun project. I have never done one before.
As for SureWest, I don't know anyone that works there. Last year we moved pretty far out to the West edge Lenexa, and I don't think SureWest comes out this far, we currently have Time Warner (had them since the '70s). I think our only choices here right now are AT&T and Time Warner. Google fiber is supposed to be coming out here and I was thinking about switching to that? They are supposed to be on the way, but no idea when they will arrive? Haven't seen any work going on around here yet.

I think I saw that too that John had done such an install. My command control locomotives are all MTH. But I actually have more conventional engines than DCS.
Yes, Google has an office in Pittsburgh and I have heard rumblings of them getting into the act there. I am too far out for Consolidated Communications and get service from a local cable company.
