Perhaps I am missing something here but there is a David Doyle's Standard Catalog of American Flyer Trains in which he covers American Flyer Pre-war Wide Gauge and O Gauge in Chapters 4,5 and 6 with about 100 pages of photographs and descriptions of Wide Gauge and O Gauge Motive Power and Rolling Stock.
