Smoke fluids are listed as "non-toxic".

Ethylene glycol is toxic. Ingesting 1/3 cup could result in death in an adult. Reference - MSDS (or SDS).

Mineral oil, on the other hand, does not have these acute or severe heath issues.

Please do not go to the garage and get some antifreeze for your trains. Bad idea.
