I doubt this is from '76, but there are a handful of these BC Rail units that roll through my hometown on the CN line. They are red, white and blue. Just saw #4620 last Sunday.

Plus, BC Rail was officially chartered in 1984 (from British Columbia Railway, whose locomotives were two-tone green) and was hardly in the United States... nod
