Billups Crossing Gate from new catalog

Thinking of pre-ordering this crossing gate, any idea if you will be able to turn the siren feature off or lower the volume. Reason I ask is a number of Lionels crossing with bells are extremely loud, and I find that turning of the bell is a great option.
