Here is my new tinplate, a bit bigger than gauge 0, this is gauge 1 tinplate live steam. Bing for Bassett Lowke Titley Court. Originally had a Smithies internally fired boiler, she was reboilered in the past to a JVR Type C fire tube boiler with 3 fire tubes. Still internally fired, so wind and rain do not effect its operation outdoors. The original run of the Titley Court was pot boilered with a vaporizing burner. Then a gentleman ordered a bespoke version with a water tube/Smithies boiler as designed by LBSC. The idea caught on and Bassett Lowke converted most of the unsold models to this set up as the original design was not selling. They also started offering to convert other gauge one steamers to the internally fired boiler. She runs excellent, had a loud bark to the stack when running on my rolling road. Soon the track work will be complete and she can run on my new raised railway. Mike the Aspie
