As RoyBoy mentioned, the Legacy Powermaster might be the answer if you don't want to invest in a full DCS system (especially with the future of DCS uncertain at this time).

The Powermaster will let you control some DCS features like the couplers and freightyard/passenger sounds straight from the CAB-2. See page 19 of the Powermaster manual.
