As Curtis pointed out, you do not need to use a transformer like the Z500 to power the TIU.

Any wall wart that produces from 12 to 22 ACV and is rated at 1.5 amps or more will work as long as it has a compatible barrel plug and should save you some $$ versus the cost of a transformer.
