Reply to "Broadway Limited Early E's..."

No idea from me?

I will say that I had a set of the later NYC E's (7's?) from them ( and a PRR steamer). They had my favorite sound package inside. I like the way the sounds were so dynamic. When the engine climbed a hill or pulled out with a train, the sounds cranked up smoothly and matched what the engine was doing exactly. If the throttle was brought back even a hair, the engine sounds mellowed down right away to match that throttle. Nice horn sounds with a touch of reverb too.

I came to O because I couldn't handle the tiny stuff anymore. I do miss some of these engines still. The newest stuff in O may match them? I think sometimes we find a favorite and it stays with us. Maybe they were just ahead of their time?
