Funny how when you build snowflakes sooner or later regardless how good your part website is you still have parts issues.  Seems like we are starting to hit the end of life cycle on some of the early modular TMCC and Legacy engines.  G

I ordered the Timko puller, and I did ask about worm gears.   He said that's going to be difficult with this puller in most cases.

His solution to gears?  He cuts the shaft and puts the gear on a press and pushes the shaft out.  His feeling is the motor is bad if you want to take off the gear, so no reason to save it.
