I just purchased a book from the Carnegie Science Center in Pitts. that is a history of the Miniature Railroad and Village! I remember going to the Buhl Planetarium as a boy. That is where the layout was originally housed in Pitts. At that time it was only on display for the holiday season, and they would dismantle it every year, then rebuild it the following year. One summer I had the opportunity to visit the "construction site."
Now if I could only find the pictures!
