Reply to "Building Up a Head of Steam"

I totally agree with Rich Melvin's post. Before I read it, I coincidentally made this video and was pleased with how the smoke mixed with the natural light at dusk that came in from the window behind the MTH Proto 2 PennsyTurbine.

After reading Rich's post, I now know why the smoke is so striking in the video. Pay particular attention to the end of this 49 second video. Arnold

SO, so, it's the new technology, with high output smoke generators. Traditional Lionel smoke-puffers do make very kewl smoke rings on a good day... and I like the ones that smell like baby-powder. Ill try that dark background and back lighting. The smoke generators/fans/sounds/smooth-pulling new engines are pretty kewl.
