I ., through trial and error, find l am close to your methods, excepting l have used rattlecans, and then tube acrylics for detailing and weathering, mostly due to difficulty with getting enough of the same shade mixed, with acrylics. With rattle can model and other paint harder to find, l'd sure like to be able to "personalyze" the color.
