I had one like that with a loose tether.Spayed both ends real good with CRC Electronic cleaner ,and then put a piece of electrical tape around and secured it to the bottom of the engine for further concealment .It ran good again.Not the correct fix, but it will keep you running. What about using one of those wireless draw bars MTH sells?then you don't have to plug it in I believe. Cheers-kennyb
