Reply to "Bummer - What can be done about a loose MTH PS2 tether from tender to engine?"

If you saying it is loose and the tether comes out of the connector easy, than do what Pete states and also check that the ends of the connector plastic are not broken.  They have small holes to help latch the tether.

If it goes in firmly but you still loose connectivity, it could be bad solder joints on the engine side connector, or a broken wire in the tether.  Both can be repaired or replaced.  G

Well....lesson learned the hard way. You can't swap out a RK General PS2 tether for an upgraded PS1 to PS2 Premier NYC Hudson tether. Darn it.

It actually was just the right length, but all of the socket connectors don't fit in the other engines sockets! :-(

So close.....

Where can I get the exact, correct, replacement tether for the NYC Premier Hudson upgraded from PS1 to PS2?
