You can always get thicker glass. Just make sure it is tempered. It's way stronger and very hard to break, even with impact. I used to have to stand on showcase glass on occasion. I'm going to go out on a stereotypical limb and.suggest you find some passenger cars or Dept56 building the little lady.finds classy before you get evicted from that hutch.
