Thats one nice 5 string!
As a matter of fact I have also. At $699(tax included) I got this sweet 2015 Les Paul Special Double Cut brand new out of the shipping box at an authorized Gibson dealer. In 2015 these were going for $999 plus tax. Compare this to a Mexican Fender Stratocaster that is now going for $799 and comes with a gig bag instead of a hardshell case.

I was thinking about buying another MTH engine but after repeatedly having multiple issues such as fried circuit boards, twice failed slave unit circuit boards due to improperly soldered B unit tether connections (in the included and additional B unit), smoke unit issues, and badly soldered wire connections in recent purchases. Due to all these issues I've experienced and the increase in prices I have chosen to invest my money in a American made guitar which will appreciate in value and give me years of joy. I feel very good about the decision I've made as I've spent thousands of dollars on dozens of MTH train engines in the past 20 years and I've decided my roster is full.
