I just bought my first Lionel Lion Chief plus E33 Rectifier Locomotive (Pa. rail name) that included a remote on a super sale from Trainworld. This engine, at least to me, is a revelation. I run my layout on an old ZW transformer which precludes me from getting all the sounds out of newer engines (except for horn sounds). With the remote I get a horn sound, a bell sound, realistic engine noises and the voice of a despatcher! I wish I had made a purchase like this a long time ago.
