Very excited...I just ordered this MTH locomotive on Monday from the Model Railroad Shop in Piscataway, New Jersey. I've always loved the Alco RS engines and the Lehigh Valley RR has special significance for me—its office building is in Bethlehem where my Dad went to Lehigh University in the 1940s. And, the railroad was a co-builder of Union Station where he came and went from school, although most likely on the Reading Railroad. The Reading was the LVRR's partner in the building and Bethlehem was the terminus for that branch (the Bethlehem Branch, I believe), and it snaked its way through the South Side...it's now the South Bethlehem Greenway.

James,

Live about 10-15min from Lehigh University which my great-grandfather attended in the 40s as well as my grandfather. I have a good amount of relatives who worked for the Steel as well. Love the LVRR and congrats on the ALCO RS-11.
