Of all the steam engines purchased in the last two years, The Lionel H-10 is by far the best value and most reliable of the steam engines. My "Pennsylvania Lines" #1709 and "Western Allegheny" #85 H-10 engines with West Lines Tenders are fun to operate. The swinging bell, Steam Whistle Effect and regular stack smoke give this 2-8-0 engine a lot for its price. The H-10 can pull ten 21-inch Pennsylvania passenger cars that I detailed with Preiser people. I finally have engines out of the sealed box that work well and are fun to operate.
Sincerely, John Rowlen
