An interesting and very colorful tin floor train, made by Elenee Toys. It has a pull-rod spring mechanism and is lettered as "The Comet". Here are a few photos of it posed with a Hafner clockwork UP streamliner. From searching for Elenee on the internet, I see that they also made another version of this in an "American Freedom Train" version in 1947.
