I "won" three items on the latest auction - an undercoated diesel loco of unknown type (could be a GP3, but I really have no idea) for $70.00, a box of locomotive and freight car wheels and trucks ,with some side frames for $60.00, and the best deal (for me) was a DCS Commander with a Z1000 brick in the original box for $164.00.

Total cost of $338.10 when all of the buyers premiums are added......not too shabby except.....when you add in the lousy exchange rate between the US dollar and the Australian dollar, it ended up costing me $524.00 plus $15.72 international transfer fee, amounting to a grand total of $539.72 Aus.

Now I wait with bated breath for Shipping Saint to advise on the cost to get them all the way to me here, down under in Australia....looks like I may have to sell one of my kidneys after all!!!

Like its been said here on the forum before: "How do you make a small fortune in model railroading.....start with a large fortune!!!!"
