Why did the leaders at LIONEL not make modern era S Scale versions of the Trinity 5161 Cu. Ft. 3-Bay Covered Hoppers and Plug-door 50' Box Cars that will match the SD70ACe and ES44AC diesels?

The ACF Center Flow Cylindrical 3-Bay Covered Hoppers match the 1960's time period of the U33C diesel locomotives. The 1960's Cabooses match the U33C diesels.
