Reply to "C&O Legacy fan driven smoke unit questions SKU: 2231100"

I have a couple locomotives that have this issue as well. I typically crank the sound up and ignore it since it still smokes well. Wonder if the smoke motor is more prone to burn up though? I have also had 1 that did this but stopped after several refills of fluid. Possibly some fluid got on the motor shaft and acted as oil and lubricated it. Not sure.
