So it appears that the information that traditional smaller, less expensive O gauge stuff would only be on-line was faulty? The 44 Tonners at $250 MSRP seem like good value. The ZW-L is now close to $1000 dollars MSRP. Thomas set which was 200 bucks is now 250 bucks. That's a big increase. Glad I already have a ZW-L

I also notice the American Flyer catalog, while small compared with the 250 page O gauge behemoth, is 44 pages. Should please someone, I'd hope.
This catalog suggests that Lionel's financial health is, as stated, reasonably good to great. You don't plan for this huge product variety and amount of innovation if you are the equivalent of Lionel in 1968. This catalog speaks to optimism and ambition, not doom and gloom. Good news for the hobby considering the loss of K-Line, Weaver and the downsizing of MTH.
