That was Lionel’s way out with the tall tender. I do the same thing when relettering an engine for NYC but its not quite correct for the parent company. System and Lines indicate its one of their subs like the Big4 or Michigan Central or a few others. You will notice the small lettering at the top of the coal hopper. That will have the letters of the sub. The sub may or may not have tenders like that even if the parent company didn’t.
