Reason why I ask is these two BN engines, U30C #1776 and SD40-2 #1876, pulled the American Freedom Train by themselves when 4449 went into the shop. I can pull my AFT set with these and be correct.

They should work together. I operated a LEGACY SOO SD60 made years ago with a LEGACY Rio Grande SD40T-2 made recently and the operated in unison.
