If you are looking for a cab car, Lionel makes the only model available, so plan on buying Lionel Amfleets too.
Your train's Amfleets should be all one brand, but any Amfleets look fine with other brands' other rolling stock.
For example, I have MTH Amfleets running with Golden Gate Viewliners.
Frankly, I prefer MTH and GGD Amfleets, but I really wanted that cab car.

That is good to know. I had figured MTH(Atlas) AMFEET would be the same dimension as Lionel AMFLEET. I’ll have to take a look at Golden Gate Depot.
I’m just starting out my fleet and knowing myself, I’ll notice my 21” streamliner passenger cars are longer than my AMFLEETs. Especially when running together. I know it’s not prototypical, but my “happiness” mixes modern electrics sharing the right of way with early diesels and steam power. It’s all about where you draw the line. 😁
