Changing MTH engine ID after custom repainting

Pat ShediackOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

If I have an MTH locomotive repainted into a custom road name, can the engine name and cab number which shows up in DCS remote or application be reprogrammed to match the new name and cab number?

If so, how is the reprogramming done? I presume it's not a consumer-level capability.
